Honey dippers (Single)
A wooden honey dipper that makes a perfect gift for a friend who loves whipping up healthy salads or likes to drizzle some honey over their pancakes.
These lac ware dippers have been manufactured by our artisan partners, Varnam Craft Collective in India, and hand-crafted by artisans from Channapatna.
- The wood used is Wrightia Tinctoria, which is completely safe and known for its medicinal values.
- The colours used here to paint are not only natural but are lead-free and non-toxic.
Please note: Any irregularities on the wood are part of its natural beauty. Please note the price is for a single honey dipper.
Care Instructions
All lacware products must be kept in shaded areas and must avoid direct exposure to the sun. Avoid blows against hard surfaces. Do not wash this with water as wood cracks and so will damage the external lac coating. To clean use a slightly damp cloth and then wipe off with a dry cloth immediately.
Varnam Craft Collective
Varnam Craft Collective is a multi-award winning social enterprise that has been working with artisans in Channapatna since 2012. The result is a series of designs interpreting this 200-year-old toy-making craft in the home & lifestyle space. In an industry where more than 90% of the artisans are men, many of Varnam’s creations have been deftly hand-crafted by women artisans. They have been providing sustainable livelihoods on a consistent basis to artisan groups in Channapatna and also other craft clusters within India.
